Movement Classes

Qi Gong with Jeannine Brown of Cedar Moon Healing Arts

Class length – 1 hour

Qigong (also spelled Ch’i Kung) is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (qi). Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind.

This class is intended as an introductory class for those who are new to Qigong and/or for those who have some experience with qigong and would like to further cultivate their practice in a group class. Residents will learn foundational qigong moves that within themselves provide a complete practice and which can also be incorporated as part of a form.  As we gain experience with the basic movements and alignment we will gradually move into learning Qigong forms from the Jinjing Gong Lineage.

Cost per participant – $25.00 (minimum of 10 participants)
